So...I'm About To Build My First Watercooling System!

Too much to think about.

Im no expert at watercooling but i dont think the 240 rad will keep your temps that low, with being able to fit a 360 in the case i think it'd be a much better option.

And im still unsure on the res and pump, as you've got it its worth a try but the XSPC single bay res and pump on OC is rated at 200lph and 1.2 metre head, with 3 waterblocks i think it'll struggle.

I realise there are contradicting views here but if you set everything up and it doesn't keep your system cool then its a lot of work putting stock heatsinks back on, or you'll be without a computer while you source other bits, either way isn't ideal.

Good point Dan, free time is a precious commodity, don't want to spend too much of it fiddling with components for days. :p

MiniYazz if he already has a double, he just aswell buy a triple, whats the point of having watercooling if your gonna have the fans on flat out, kind've defeats the object.
I dont even have a I7 cpu, I am using a Q9650@4ghz which dont kick out the same heat as an I7, using a Thermachill rad, 18w DDC/alphacool top.
Off this loop I am also cooling the two mosfets and a northbridge chip and I get nice load temps of around 50c. My fans are running on the lowest setting, which to me is why most people go to watercooling.
So I stick to my guns have CPU, Northbridge, one loop, GPU's on another.
Maybe you could try a single loop with two dual rads, providing the pump would provide sufficent flow.
My opinion is if your gonna go watercooling you just aswell get the most from it, nice case to have a nice setup with aswell, know what I would be doing with that I7, maybee I am just greedy.
