So im getting a mbp 2moro!

Hey there!

Hope you enjoy it!

Regarding moving files over from your pc, your going to have to buy a bit off software from apple that's called PC To MAC that converts all the files into MAC friendly files, its quite cheap at £125, its worth it! ;)

In all seriousness, its as simple as drag and drop from your PC to Mac.

Josh

So do i need to do anything to my pc? So that the mac can see it?

On the Mac.

Go to system preferences, then click "Sharing" and do it all from there :)

Otherwise, all network related stuff is found in "Network". For example, IP address, domain.. all that jazz.

Cheers for the info mate :)

Sweet :) Be sure to take some pictures :) I am still considering a macbook! Tommorow im off to the apple store to have a play on one of the macbooks there, so hopefully I'll be more decisive tommorow :)

Good luck ^_^

Well it's not a brand new one. It's got 2 of its 3 year warranty left. Im buying it off a friend of mine, he works at the Apple store in Birmingham. He's a "Mac Genius" :)

My new Macbooks been sat in the UPS depo all weekend it sucks soo bad.

Went the the apple store in the Bullring today and had a play. Walked out with a airport Extreme and a mini DVI -> dvi adaptor

Good days :)

roll on tomorrow :)

2moro shall be a good day :D

Guys, whats the best way of moving my mail and web favourites across to the mac? On my pc i currently use firefox and thunderbird.

I'll post some pics later :)

So is there no way of moving emails across from thunderbird on pc to mail on mac. Should i just forward to my hotmail, then back to my pop3?
