So interesting year for TVs... LG OLED, Panasonic OLED, Sony OLED? and Samsung QLED!

I'm planning on replacing my old Panasonic Plasma 46"GT30... So the latter half of this year will be interesting

All the OLED panels are manufactured by LG though.

Sony and Panasonic are just going to have deals in place with LG.

Really? I guess image processing may differ though...

QLED sounds like Samsung trying to muddy the waters.

Possibly.. But it may prove cheaper/comparible in quality, or even better in some areas... Should be interesting...

I want someone other then LG to start making panels so hopefully we get slightly smaller size and lower price...

Yeh... 50" would be nice!

I'm questioning if 55" is going to be overwhelming in the lounge TBH!

I don't get the love for OLED here, they can't even do proper HDR because the brightness is so low.

I suspect some OLED owners might disagree with that!?

I tried this, but they then moaned that when the news was on they had to change to 101 as it doesn't do the local bits in HD

QLED sounds great, will keep an eye out come March for sure.

Can't recall if it's come up in the thread already? But the 2017 LG OLED range is suppose to be 20% or so brighter...
