i blame the government/media reaction to 'internet trolls'
it's almost as bad as when they went nuts over paedos'!
It was a reference to my recent suspension.
Currently not at liberty to discuss the details as certain processes are still being completed but suffice to say, I wasn't suspended for the reasons people were alluding to on here.
Three times I politely asked for clarification on specific points that were raised and I got nothing back.
So much for 'if you have an issue, mail one of moderators'?

Christ, you make it sound like you're fighting a criminal conviction. It's an internet forum, you got suspended for x reason. Get over it.
Though I wonder what it was, because if it wasn't for posting sex obsessed spam in pretty much every thread that you joined; then it should have been.
If the moderating team are going to place strict rules and enforce them then there needs to be transparency and consistency otherwise they just make it up as they go along.
There's very valid reasons why the circumstances of the suspension won't be revealed just yet by me, but if you'd like to email a mod privately, feel free to and if they feel it appropriate, they'll divulge.
I wouldn't hold much hope of an answer though

There are conspiracies because people like you throw your toys out the pram and make a big deal of being suspended and moan about it but not actually tell anyone what the problem is.
It's attention seeking, akin to people saying "Oh, I'm so upset. Wa, wa, wa, wa." "What happened?" "Oh, it doesn't matter. Wa, wa, wa wa."
Plus, the rules are hardly strict. The rules are sensible, and few. If you are unable to follow them then it's not the Dons fault, it's yours.

I didn't think his comment about homosexuals was that inappropriate, at the time i thought it added a valid point to the discussion, he also added a link to the study, if i remember correctly. I admit i would not say that myself because it would definitely offend people who are gay that were abused. But sometimes the truth offends people, not much you can do about that. I have seen other studies that show that people that were physically abused as children, bullied etc, are more likely to be violent criminals. I don't think it is that extreme of a statement. Maybe just the way he said it and his history of being blunt ?

Maybe you could enlighten me as to why I was suspended because I had two very different reasons given to me at the time. One seemed legitimate and fair, the other a heavy handed and quite narrow minded interpretation of a very vague abstract concept. I accept they're your rules and I will abide by them, I'm just seeking clarification as to what the rules actually are and how I should be abiding by them
Mods are pretty lenient these days compared to what they were like in the early 2000s

Kwerk is a good guy. We can learn a lot from people like him. He has good home defense ideas and likes hot girls just like me.
I do agree with someone earlier in this post saying that some mods do take liberties with banning people for nothing. If this was a real world you mods be fired long time ago.
