hi
about to start a build and cant decide on on board. i'me going for a p45 board but cant decide between the MSI P45 Platinum or the Asus P5Q Deluxe :confused:

there both £129 just under budget.
ive read a lot about the p5q deluxe but not on the MSI
be awesome if anyone could sum up the diferences between the 2

Can't comment on the MSI but I did have the P5Q-Deluxe for a short while and it was a great board, I think the Asus was a better clocker.

Had a few MSI boards in the past and had nothing but problems, so I won't touch them now, but thats just personal experience. I know people who have no problems with their MSI boards

I think the Asus P5Q Deluxe is the better board between these two, certainly a better o/cer.....

MSI make bad mobo's

Get the ASUS its easy.

Or a Gigabyte mobo.

+1 for the p5q deluxe. my last experience with msi was with an s939 sli board a few years ago and i found them somewhat slacking in the support stakes.
