So my 360 died.

Was gutted yesterday when my 360 died on me (three red rings!) last night, was one i bought in november last year. However a quick trip to gamestation for a switch hoping to get a new type one with HDMI as a warrenty exchange left me thinking, why not get an elite!

So took the Elite + controller + blue dragon and forza 2 (got both!) deal for £314.99, exchanged the games and controller back and paid £5 for an upgrade from a buggered premium to an elite, pretty happy :D

So they let you trade in a broken console? Did they know it was broken?
 
I exchanged it under warrenty but instead of doing a like for like which they normally do (ie take a new one out the box and take your broken one and let you keep all your HD etc) i just exchanged the whole thing for an elite. Wasnt a trade in!
 
My Xbox360 died and I couldn't get it replaced under warrunty.

So therefore, I went to the a famous purple shop with the full intention of buying a core as I had all the accessories....

And ended up walking out with an elite....


Happy days! :D Colours look much crisper on the Elite and it's much quieter :cool: Looks damn sexy as well :cool::cool:
 
My 360 just died tonight, thing is its missing the M$ warranty sticker ;)

Just rang the support line and there are sending out the death pack now to go and get it replaced. Right now i need everyone to cross their fingers for me and hope they fix it for FREE :D

Ok start crossing pls

@ Least if they don't fix it i have an excuse to go and grab the Halo 360 i actually want....

Why not say your 2 year old son was "playing" with it when you was at work and peeled off the sticker?

Insulting their inteligence, but worth a go!
 
say the sticker melted off and onto ** carpet, but if they want to make a big deal over it they can buy the new carpet too. damn them for selling you a 360 without thermal protection plates.

No offence but I hope they send it back to you, with all the money you have saved not buying games won't be such a hard thing to buy a new console I guess.
 
Modding pre mods is for nasty folks i agree.

Freeloaders, i tell you theirs something still good about buying a game enjoying it and eagerly awaiting your next intended purchase.

Im still going to send the duff one back, see what happens

Lots of people have said (not this forum) that they have had no problem. I cant see why there is anyway all i did was put a window in the side?? The hardware is 100% intact

Anyway this is the last 360 ill get, next time im going Dark Side :eek:
