If you've jailbroken the phone you can download bossprefs and put % on there instead of a battery image :)

Google maps doesn't work for me, wont find my location. Did on 2.0 but not 2.0.1 :/
 
Yeah, Location is broken on 2.x - not sure if thats a result of jailbreaking/unlocking or whether 2.x is broken period.
 
Location works fine on mine - 2.0.1 non-jailbroken. Locates me within 10seconds even when its been totally switched off in the settings and tracks me perfectly in the car.

2.xx is still buggy. It works on my Touch and iPhone but at work it doesn't work on a colleagues 2G phone and another chap's 3G. All they get is the spinning thing in the location icon on googolmaps.
 
Same here :( Hope its fixed soon!

Just bought a dock for £19! What a rip off but I needed it as it was annoying me not being able to put it anywhere. Need to find invisible shield somewhere!
 
Yeah, I went to thailand and came back. My previous two months bills have been about £60 :/ alas.
 
Have there been any problems with batterys?
I went to bed at 2am and the battery was 70%, woke up this mornin and its completely dead and needs to be plugged in. Didnt leave the screen on or anything running that would need a lot of juice. If it happens again ill have to take it back :/ Ridiculous
 
My 1G is awesome.. still impressed with it. They need to sort out the lag in recently firmwares though it detracts away from the experience slightly. I was considering upgrading to a 3G but the battery life stories I hear and there not actually being that many advantages mean that I will stay with the 2G for the present.
