So, review videos, WHY???

I didn't agree with one review video = all review videos are worthless
No, I don't mean that. On more than 1 video for a backlit large font keyvoard, it looked bright enough to see great, got it & it was so so dim. Lamp was of & I hardly could see it. I am just annoyed, if it is something that you need to look at to use a review video shoul be unhardened. I want to see how bright a backlit keyboard get IRL when I watch a review video on it.

Are you sure you have the brightness all the way up? Most backlit keyboards are adjustable in this regard.
It is the Azio Large Print Keyboard - USB Computer Keyboard with 3 Interchangeable Backlight Colors (KB505U) it is nonadjustable, the etailer site had nothing about brightness leves.

Why even watch them to look at something that is a product you look at? I watch a vid. on a backlit keyboard, looked bright enough. I order it, got here yesterday, so dim & I had my lamp off. It makes no sense to not show it unaltered.I mean am I nuts, or when looking at something that is for looking at like a motor/backlit keyboard, it should be shown as it is IRL. To have it otherwise is just BAD for a reveiw video. It might just be a issue with me, since I have vision issues.

Not quite sure why you're generalising from one specific issue (which doesn't seem to be the norm). Also, if you're going to talk about a specific issue then why not be specific - what was the product and where is the link to the review video?

Was a Azio Large Print Keyboard
Looks like a very cheap keyboard and to be expected to have quality issues

It's not quite the level of 'influencers' (god I hate that word), but some reviewers still get monetised to platform themselves on YouTube. The main way around this is to check on Reddit and other forums like here where you get actual input from internet users Stay away from review sites, even more trustworthy ones like Amazon. There is something called review merging where several different products have the same review pool, so that some of the reviews that you're reading are for a different product and it may not be 100% obvious.

Oh yes.
I want the Stomp by my PC so I don't have to keep getting the Helix out.
I can also interchange sounds.

I know what you mean. I don’t really have an at home rig but I’ve tried to make my gig rig as simple as possible. Tbh, I sold my Stomp because I wasn’t really using all the features, but I play bass so the world of effects isn’t that exciting…drive, fuzz, octave, chorus

I would bet a large amount of money the reviewer hadn't altered the video. How bright something is, is VERY hard to show on a video, even with good cameras. If you can, turn the lights off an try filming your phone screen. It wont look anything like the brightness your eyes see.

What did the reviewer actually say about the backlit brightness? That's what you should go on.

The trick is to know your reviewers and their channels and to know something of the product yourself. That helps you sort the wheat from the chaff. There's so much crap out there and deceptive paid content, that sometimes good quality reviews and youtubers/bloggers etc.. can be overlooked.
