So, some <swear> scratched my GF's car :( estimate?

Looks accidental at least rather than malicious. I'd have a go at it with some abrasive polish then go over it with something full of fillers (like AG Super Resin polish) and top it off with a good quality wax and see how it looks.

I managed to lose a couple of scratches on our Punto by doing that but it is much lighter in colour.

My missus has done worse scratches with her handbag on my car and then been surprised when I get annoyed.

Do you want to swap?

Thanks guys :)

Re : above. It didn't have the scratch when she got home from work ... We went out for the night in my car and came back to it , bit hard to accidentally scratch it on a private drive :/

T-Cut if it's not too deep, as people have suggested. That's probably your first port of call, give that a go and see how it looks after that. You'll be surprised how much difference it can make, and she might settle for it looking "much better" rather than "brand new".

I can't tell from the pictures, but if the scratch goes over two panels you might get stung if you take it to get professionally done, as they'll insist both panels will need redoing.

It's a Punto, get her a new car!

Or looks like most of it will machine polish out.

I'd leave it.

It's your GF's car, there'll be way worse damage than that soon. You'll spend a fortune on it if you start sorting every little blemish.

Gonna try the tcut first, thanks

You're not doing it are you? It's her car - giver her the t-cut and a cloth.

You only need some numpty dumpty delivering a pizza leaflet and catch his bag on his merry journey.

Cant give you an estimate, but its worth trying Farecla G6 Compound.

I keep a tube in my car and from that picture, this product will remove the scratch.
