I had a go of a S2000 and loved it which surprised me TBH as I am used to a lot of low down torque.

As with any engine you need to adjust your driving style to suit it, round town was not a problem you just need to give it some more revs than you would in a turbo car nothing mental but around a couple of K more than a TDi/petrol turbo. Keeping it in the vtec zone with the roof down gives a superb sensation the noise is almost addictive.

The only problem was due to lack of torque it couldn't get up my steep drive

They will have a winch, not for that reason though, they developed it to pull BMWs out of hedges.
