So the last time I did a rebuild was...

So I've now ordered a Dell S2719DGF

Apparently it doesn't come with a Display port cable, so I'll order one of those, as well.

Pics to follow once delivered. Thanks to everyone for help & support so far

Hi all, some thread resurrection, as after some advice...

I've just purchased a 5700X to replace the 2600 and am looking for suggestions to replace the RX580, please

I wonder if an RX 6800 would work? I've seen them drop to around £389 now. Any other options worth considering around this price point?

The other question is around the new Nvidia cards which are coming out in January - will that impact the 1440p GPU market? e.g I'm looking to spend around £350 - £450 but back for buck is most important

The new cards are going to be £600 + minimum and that's probably my being optimistic.

I doubt that they'll have much impact on anything within your price range.

6800 still a very good GPU, specially considering other options’ prices.
Some of the actual gen entry/mid options are a complete joke… and expensive for what they offer. Most people will be better off getting a 6800/6800XT and 3080 12GB than most mid range from last gen.
