Go to your local Pokestop you may get more.

I went down the seafront when I was home in blackpool yesterday, there was a pokestop every hundred meters or so all the way up the front.

Someone has Been using Lures all day at the Pokestop round the corner, and I'm stuck in work. Hope it's still going when I finish.
Must be costing them a few quid.

Game in Swindon yesterday have a stop on their store. They spent the whole day putting lures on!

Nipped over after work, it was a coffee shop where the stop was.

In their feeding frenzy, they consume their young and weak. The cycle of life comes full circle, evolution claiming its due. And now the lures are set! It's time to observe. -- David Attenborough voice

Well, my wife has gotten in to it. This is a good thing you see, because I need to take it easy on the drive home so she can catch Pokemon. This means her face is permanently glued to her phone.

You know what I mean. Hall pass baby.

Cheers Delta.

I'm still trying to understand the placement thing.

E.g. in World of Warcraft, Blizzard decides where certain types of monsters are found. They will roam around set locations. When they get killed, they'll re-spawn after a set time interval in the same area.

Is it similar in Pokémon? Have the game designers already decided that a certain character will spawn outside Stafford Sainsbury's and will re-spawn there?

Or is it completely random and they'll re-spawn somewhere else?

From my limited experience (took a walk with my little boy for about 40 mins) they seem to appear in their "habitat". We found a load of grass type ones in the local park, and a water type next to a lake, not sure where you'd find the other types though, maybe mountains for rock?

Have to confess I was sceptical at first, but it seems quite cool if you don't take it too seriously, and was fun seeing a few other families and groups of kids who were obviously out hunting them as well

So, within half an hour of messing about on this game, it has already lead me to discover an old statue that I never knew was there in our neighbourhood and learn it's reason and history (the statue was one of the pokestops). There were also a bunch of kids at the library at another pokestop.

Despite the criticisms, I can't fault the genius of getting the video game generation out and about!

Ingress is far better at this. The info about the landmarks is inside the game and there are Missions that involve trails that visit a number of landmarks with extended info.

Half the idiots playing will have walked infront of a car by the time the sequel comes out so demand will drop naturally.:p

Nintendo IP > some random.

It actually works well out at night in the car where you can hunt quick and visit sequential pokestops. Seem to be more Pokemon out at night and easier to pull over safely on alert.

She knows man.. they don't even need to look they just know, its like a sixth sense. You should worry more about male pokemon players hitting her up as the female to male ratio is so bad ;)
