So what do you think is awesome?

Boobies
Snorkelling
Good food, especially fine dining. When you have three courses. Which look quite small. But you come out feeling fall but not stuffed and more than likely tipsy. Roll on the 29th for yearly London trip.
borough Market
Mountains

Snorkelling was so awesome, I want to try diving when I have some money.

The scale of space. Sometimes, I'll be reading about something and getting the superficial understanding I'm looking for and then it'll strike me what the units actually mean. When that happens, understanding hits an "Out of range - too much awesome" error :) A recent example: I was arguing that UFOs are extremely unlikely to be of alien origin because even if there are other people in the universe with technology advanced enough for interstellar travel, they almost certainly won't have found us. So I estimated how long it would take to survey the observable universe with a very determined and well-resourced project that could survey 10,000 stellar systems per year and keep on doing that. Try it and see if you really understand that length of time.

This is also awesome. I don't usually like soprano simply because the pitch is too high for my taste, but this is just so well done.

Human brains. A couple of handfuls of watery, spongy stuff and all of a person and all of science and all of art and all of literature...

I think Gary Busey is unironically awesome.

When I ride my Ducati 748, everytime the words run through my mind "this is awsome!".

Shame it's on SORN until next year though :(

Damn winter.

What makes you think "Wow that was awesome!", apart from the obvious answer... Sex... So what do you find awesome that isn't sexual related. :)

For me the first thing that came to mind was speed, being in a rollercoaster, or in a fast car leaves me with the awesome feeling.

What about you?

First thing I thought of was speed - motorcycling for sheer adrenaline, and to think "that was NUTS!!" and karting for the buzz of close racing, and understanding just how fast you can push things.
