Why do the BBC insist on using possibly the world's worst media player, Spyplayer, sorry I mean Realplayer? :(

I mean, it is just *****!

its free, and cross platform (to an extent)
can't use WMP as its not available on Mac etc and can't use most of the other open sorce jobbies because of the unique way that the BBC is funded.

not that I like it,

Just install it and stop using buzzwords like spyware and bloatware.
Realplayer has been proven to spy on users. However, if you download it from the BBC link it is meant to have those components removed, but I don't believe it.

Spyware or not, it is still ****. :)

Vent means playing it in WMV. It can't be done because the BBC doesn't give you there links to audio or video because of copyright issues. That's why you cant rewind a pre recorded radio show
