A mate bought his PC round this morning because it has slowed down and things have gone missing.
This is the 3rd time and it always happens when his son comes home from Uni and he obviously does what most males do - look for porn.
Last year I set my mate up with an Easynews account so he doesn't use Torrents or have the need to go looking at dodgy sites for stuff but still his son wanders.
However, his son (and it is his son) hasn't cleared any traces of what he's been up to and sitting on the desktop were two Shemale films and two gay films :D
I also found a directory of recently downloaded gay porn.
I will definitely have to keep this away from his Dad.

Every now and then I check his computer at his home and its always clean but this time there were also 8 viruses and 436 malicious malware on it and this is all because of torrents and dodgy sites.
 
I've touch wood not had any viruses due to torrents..
Orbit download on other sites with flash based "videos" is what it's all about. :p
 
Tell him to password protect it and if his son wants to use a computer he should tell him to get his bloody own or go to an internet cafe.

I gave my younger sister my old laptop and every time I come home, she complains that it's running slower and she runs out of disk space etc and low and behold it's caused by going to those dodgy childrens websites full of games and ads, she's learning though thankfully
 
i was clearing a friends laptop and low and behold some chix with ****s stuff poped up, it was a very embarrasing moment for me let alone him. He was stunned into silence and i just chose to let it go, but every time i see him i always think about it and shudder

I don't think going to an internet cafe is a good idea if that's the sort of thing he wants to look at:D

When walking past an internet cafe in Glasgow which had a massive glass window seen a guy in a suit happily surfing porn allowing anyone to walk past to see :D

I've not had any bad encounters apart from when i go home and see what my dad has been looking at :p
 
Upon fixing my dad's computer I found that he had set himself up a dating website profile... despite being supposedly happily married with my mother! :eek:

A friend and I were going to create a false profile to be, in lamens terms, utter bar-stewards and string him along but decided the less malicious subtle hint here & there induced far more panic and of course, hillarity.

Aww, I've never come accross anything bad cleaning PCs other than I once fixed a laptop for my mums friend which had obviously been used to look at porn from malware infested sites.

A friend of mine was given a laptop by someone to fix, unbeknown to the woman who's laptop it was, her boyfriend had set the wallpaper to a photo of them... busy. He gave it back to her with the same wallpaper. Wonder what she must have thought when she booted it up to that.
 
I once had the displeasure of finding some kiddie images on a PC that came back from a user that had left the company i work for. The PC was getting files archived and cleaned before getting re used somewhere else in the company.

Not a pleasant experience.

The police were informed and everything. I was interviewed and asked if i was willing to go to court if needed.

Bloody pervert. Not sure what happened to him actually as i never heard anything else.
 
Mrs Snail works for a printers and was asked to print something for a local business. The CD had all the normal images required.

I have also been in the unfortunate position of working on a paedophiles computer when I was a techie. He left the computer in to get Windows XP put on it and asked us to back up some specific folders on the HDD. I went into one of them whilst browsing to find them and was greeted with a gallery view of some very sick child porn. ~4-8 years old.

I hope the sick **** is rotting in jail.
 
When i worked at a medium sized pc shop in manchester ( cant say who ) we had 2 babes bring in a pc for repair. The guy at the counter incorrectly diagnosed the fault as a hard drive failure and told the girls that ALL the data was lost. They agreed to leave the pc for a new drive and windows reinstall etc etc.

When i got the pc it was just a dodgy IDE cable so i fixed it and left it running while i went and had my dinner. When i came back there was a large crowd round the door to the repair room, the lads in the build workshop had obviously found something good.

I cleared a path and got to my pc, the screensaver had come on and was happily displaying the red hot pics of the 2 girls at a rate of one every 5 seconds. :p

We cleared the room to much annoyance from the rest of the staff and then we got a bit interested as to what else might be lurking on the drive. Sure enough there was about 3 hours of RED HOT 2 girl action they had obviously taken themselves with a webcam of somesort.

When they came back to pick up the pc they looked a little sheepish, obviously wondering if we had seen the stuff. Everyone was totally normal right upto waving them goodbye through the window at which point 3 of the lads came running out of the back with "i love lesbians" t-shirts on! ( one of the guys had a brother who owned a printers who did tshirts and stuff ).

The look on the girls faces was a priceless picture :D

And no i dont before anyone asks. The disc got lost years ago sadly.

I use to fix laptops for Toshiba and we had a few laptops get taken away by the police as they had some naughty content.

Aside from that there was never a day went by where we didnt find any adult video material. Sometimes homemade but usually not.

Now i work on a builders site where they dont know what computers are.
 
I found a womans fellas pics on a dating web site with him standing there in his underpants :D
Cheeky mare give him untold grief about it & she was riding me :rolleyes:
 
The only way you are going to get a virus from a torrent is if you download something like video.exe, so I'd imagine it's from dodgy sites rather than torrents. ;)
 
Once found quite a few 'Necrophilia' pictures on a workmates laptop. After much ribbing he admitted that he'd only downloaded them for a joke to freak one of his mates out.

He wasn't happy at all when I pointed out that that failed to explain just how his face was clearly visible in more than half of them. :p
