As a long time fan of the TR series the direction of the new TR is a bit meh for me. From the gameplay vids I've seen it looks too spoonfed, funnelled almost. Like an interactive CGI. Hope I am wrong and there is lots of exploring and puzzles etc

Well i have never heard of the game until i watched the trailer so i don't know how well the 1993 version did.

I am only really bothered about ME3 and Planetside 2. Weren't people talking about GTAV this year?

I think I am most looking forward to expansions for Skyrim and Deus Ex tbh. Also wondering if the ywill release something for The Witcher 2

This year doesn't look too rosy I must admit... but then again I thought last year was the year of flops.

Maybe we'll get something original and immense.

A few flops, but overall some great games last year and imo 3 of the best games I have ever played in Skyrim, Portal 2 and Deus Ex Human Revolution.

Certainly getting:

Dead State
Metro: Last Light
StarCraft 2: HotS
Diablo 3
Torchlight 2
DotA 2
Mass Effect 3

Very interested, but just have to wait and see (will get at least 2-3 of them no doubt):

Dishonored
Thief 4
Hitman: Absolution
BioShock: Infinite
Botanicula
Pid
Dark Souls, if that petition works and they port it decently

And that I'd love:

Black Mesa ..
Ep3/HL3 (of course..)
Stalker 2
Company of Heroes 2
Beyond Good & Evil 2
Mirror's Edge 2

Probably many I'm forgetting, don't yet know about, or will end up with anyway, especially on the indie front or in Steam sales!

I was doing my masters over the last academic year and I still feel overwhelmed by the games that have been coming out over the period but didnt get to play(I almost went cold turkey) so im quite set for 2012.

Otherwise, only thing to look forward to is Diablo 3 for me as well.
