So who else is in of a Saturday night ??

Saw the girlfriend yesterday and my mates are in London or away at uni so just having a quiet evening. Preparing the beer to watch match of the day in a bit.

Apparently they're reluctant to just take them out now-a-days which is why they haven't done it sooner (something about the antibiotics I think). Took me having it 6 times in a years before they'd send a letter to a specialist which was just before Christmas. Got an appointment for the 27th March :rolleyes: Got knows how long the wait for the opperation will be :rolleyes:

Oh and I've had it two more times since me getting my appointment date to the actually appointment (Xmas - 27th March). Wonderful.

yeah very true, I was always off school with it up untill I had the op, not that I was ever bothered with school tbh. 13 years of living hell, still I turned out alright, I think.

I get to see the opticians on the day your seeing the ent specialist mate. The guy I had was a foreign Doctor, called Doctor Chataborky, I know I've spelt that wrong lol but hey at the time I was only 6.

Have tuned into a radio show from another forum I'm part, I think I'm part of 8 different forums all together now.

1. Jack Daniels 'Scenes from Lynchburg Number 7' - 43% - £29.99
2. Jameson Irish Whiskey - 40% - £14.39
3. Bushmills Malt Whiskey (10 years old) - 40% - £22.99
4. Bailie Nicol Jarvie (Scotch, 6 years old) - 40% - £16.49

I've tried to include variety of tipples, from the lower price range, to the middle (reasonable) price range. Obviously you can get more expensive bottles of Whisky, but if I could afford to waste money on those I wouldn't be staying in :D
At the moment the JD is winning on taste (shock horror) but given its price it won't win out right. I'd rather have two bottles of Jameson and change for a king size mars, than one bottle of the special JD.
 
I'm in tonight. Not feeling to good though because I went out for the 1st time clubbing, so the first time I got rly wasted. My skinny small body can't handle it.
Someone stole my Guinness hat and then started on me so I just walked off. Also other things happened but I have realised I have to be "mature" now lol.

Behemoth I see you live in Cornwall. Well if you know the ultimate hangover cure you could come over mine and we could go for a drink :p

If you want a proper Irish blended whiskey, try Powers Gold Label. I always have it over the Jammie. The Bushmills blend is also nice although the malt is better as a proper tipple :)

I had too much to drink last night mate. 4 Pack of guiness, lol. Well it was paddy day yesterday. I'm actually thinkijg of planning an OcUK Cornwall meet if your interested mate.
 
I've been really shocked by the fancy JD, as I wouldn't touch normal JD unless it was drowned in coke or something similar. It's just a shame I don't know where I can buy it anywhere near me, as my Dad bought it in Germany for me as a gift. If I want more after this has gone I might have to order it online.

Call me a wuss but I will only drink JD in coke, lol. As for other wiskeys, please, keep them away from me, they make me sick :(
