Had to be there soon after 4 really, thats when most people seemed to arrive

I love queing, seriously I have queued twice now and had a right laugh both times.
Wii 3 now on my kitchen table.
Shame i had to get 3 games with it as well though :(
Now have Zelda, Red Steel, Wii Play (with controller),Ravin Rabbids and Happy Feet and I actually chose those games if I keep this one then my daughter will love it.
Then again the temptation to sell it is very strong.......

I forgot to mention it was very cold and wet and miserable, but still a good giggle.
 
Well, I over slept, tootled down for just before 7 saw the queues and the fact the car park was nearly full and realised that most people must have been there for a good few hours.

So nm, didn't get one but not that fussed. :D and at least I am not tired

On my todd, most of my mates are too lazy or drunk to get up at 0400.
They had 37 consoles and handed out tickets at about 0600.
By 0700 no tickets remained, but a lot of people turned up, got turned away and got the hump about it.
 
Just checked my Wii order that I placed through a high street electrical retailer and it is showing as shipped YAY!!!!!!!! :D

Quite a good deal if I say so myself

Wii Console + Wii Play (including the remote obviously) + Zelda + Super Monkeyball all for the grand sum of £251.99 delivered

Yep thats my point, everyone wants it first for the smallest effort. Mine is on it's way too.

Next week there will be more, you have a choice, get up early search the sites, sit outside shops or stay in bed and whinge on the internet how its not fair.

Or even wait a week or two and get one for RRP off the shelf.
 
I went down to the one near me at 5:30ish i was 24th, and they had 50 :D

About 100ish turned up, think everyone who get there before 6 got one, so was pretty good.

Had a good laugh while waiting too.

Having missed out today and checking up with them, it appears they are saving up all the Wiis this week, that come in and doing the same thing next Saturday.

I guess its great publicity for them and gets is all done in one. Probably a confused sales assistant tbh though, although I thought it made sense, unless they had been told they were getting an end of week shipment and got confused.
