So whos getting their windows 7 (full release) next week?

With Microsoft releasing Windows 7 for download from the 5th August to all corporate licencing people. Whos set to get theres?

I've just had my new HP Desktop delivered, just waiting for next week for windows 7 to be released to get it on there. been runing RC on my current machine for a few weeks and seems perfect. Were currently testing the RC for domain admin features and tbh it looks amazing compared to Vista, can't find anything to fault it yet!

So whos gunna be installing from release?

At home - no.
Although I have access to various ways of downloading - TechNet, MSDN, etc I cannot use said OS at home license legal until my copy arrives on 22nd October.
So I'll be running RC until then.

At work we may roll out to a few machines - our licensing model means we can always run the latest versions of OS, Office, Visio, Project etc.

We got technet at work and some other Microsoft licensing scheme.

Think I can legally download it and install it at home

I shall be downloading it as soon as it turns up on MSDN. It'll be installed on my desktop (which I do work on if I work from home), but I shall wait for my Home copy to arrive in October before installing on my laptop (because I don't work using it

Going to get myself a technet account come next week £174 well worth it

Plus on the weekend i am upgrading to core i7 so lovely new hardware on a lovely fresh os

Test hardware I assume, since you're only licenced through Technet to use the software for evaluation basis.
