So...

Don't like the case at all. Nowhere decent to mount an H5O/H7O, and as this thread has shown, only really comes into it's own if you're going for something along the lines of a GTX580/590/HD5970/6990.

And I don't have the budget for a card like that, and if I did, i'm not sure i'd want it two feet from me on the desk.

I think the SG05/06 have shown that 10" is quite ample.

LePhuronn, I see you have this card, how are you finding it noise-wise?

I thought it was quite good, until I tried the Metro 2033 demo about an hour ago. It makes a right racket! :/

Um...it's amazingly silent because I don't actually have it yet :( was a little premature in updating my sig - ordering doesn't mean ownership.

I'll be sure to give you my thoughts upon its arrival.

So I was wrong...

Wow! Cant wait to see if someone brings out a short 3GB 580 :p

I would be tempted to go this small were it not for the fact that: You can only put tiny coolers in and is 450W really enough???

I think if you cut the front panel, the GTX580 would fit without having to remove the front. I make 265mm front to back, only just not big enough.

As for tiny coolers: there's an Antec Kuhler H2O-620 in there! And the PSU should cope with anything that fits in there.

Full specs are:

Intel Core i5-650
Intel DH57JG
8GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR3
EVGA GTX570 HD SC (900/3900)
OCZ Vertex 2e 240GB SSD
Antec Kuhler H2O-620
Silverstone Sugo SG06-B
Silverstone ST45SF

I'm waiting for Bulldozer and then it's a motherboard/CPU upgrade next.

Jeez I didnt spot that rad in the front there at first, thats pretty cool.
Is there any space left for a 3.5" HDD or is it pretty much 2.5" only?

I think my next case will be an SG07/SG08(when they come out), as that has just enough space for everything I want...just.

Well I have an SG07 for sale... ;)

As for HDDs, that's an interesting question. As you can see, the SSD is attached to the floor of the case, I use double sided velcro for that.

The bracket that holds the optical drive needs to be modded so that the rad fits, but the mod removes it's ability to hold hard drives.

If you mount the rad sideways you have exactly 9" for a graphics card as long as the power connectors are on the top and not the back. If they're on the back you're looking at more like 8.5".

If you put the rad vertically, you have the fill 10.5" to play with (with power connectors on top) or 10" with the connectors on the back. However, you cannot fit the bracket AT ALL like this, so no optical drive or HDDs unless they're attached to the floor.

Hey, Nice.

Just thought I would show how fast a Shuttle XPC 58J3 can go. Unlocks to 6970 but have not bothered yet.
GPU Idles @ 38 degrees.

If only they weren't so expensive, i'd probably just get a Shuttle. Especially as it's the smallest way to go X58.

I expect you'd get a GTX580 in there actually, no?
