Soccer Aid 2012

What have you got against Ferrell?

Aside from him being terribly irritating with his overly shouty hyperactive brand of acting? Not much if you exclude that. Credit where it is due though, I was impressed that he still signed autographs while limping off.

Great first goal by Sergio Pizzorno, in fact all the goals were decent. It seemed a bit of a waste having Crespo playing in defence for most of the game though but as said it seemed like most of the ex-pros were trying to give it to the celebs to score rather than do so themselves.

Kevin Phillips seemed to be trying to score, whilst the rest of the World pros were trying to avoid scoring themselves, and instead were giving the opportunities to the celebs... the latter seemed like a 'nicer' way of doing it :o.

That's what I thought as well, it was poor form. Like someone else here said, I'd rather see the pro players intervene in order to keep the game even (as well as high scoring) rather than trying not to score if they were on ROW or trying to score if in an England shirt.

It was only at 3-1 that Seedorf and Crespo made a bit of an effort to score.

Also being Unicef they should get Messi next time.

I hope Ramsey's alright, he had to give up playing football because of knee injury, so I wouldn't imagine it'd take a lot to aggrivate the injury again.

Was an enjoyable game, though I'd like to have seen Woody on sooner.

Just got back

Teddy KNOCKED THE **** OUT of ramsey hahaha it was epic.

Paddy had a blinder, sterling player he is.

Really enjoyed it, had some post match interview outside the ground too :o

He is out of hospital and doing ok according to the report I read. Injured his back so sounds like he'll be in quite a bit of pain but they suggest nothing long term.
