Social networking is the new craze - just as mobile txt'ing was I guess. Who knows all I know is that I don't currently use it, but I wasn't so against txt messaging... Just cos I don't use it doesn't mean no one should but I don't think its the be all and end all of communication that some publicise it to be...
How can be friends of someone you've never met or haven't seen for years?

Contradiction much?
Quoted for Truth, though I'd like to add msn to that. If someone needs to contact me through a computer, use msn, or just phone/text.total waste of time

^ didnt you have any friends at school or any clubs that you wish to contact but dont know their number or where they live?
I'm quite a fan of facebook. It's a simple tool that lets me keep in contact with a variety of people around the world, and see what they're getting up to. Apart from the number of applications that are on there now, I can't really see much wrong with it, nor why quite so many people don't like it or have a problem with it.
And as for old friends, I'm pleased to say I've caught up with a lot of people I probably wouldn't have found / wouldn't have found me without FB. However I am terrible for keeping in contact IRL so FB is perfect for me. Means I'm kept up-to-date on important things in their lives and they can do the same for me, and a lot of them we've just picked up from where we left.![]()
