Following on from the Follow me on Twitter thread yesterday, we'd like to thank everyone for their input and we'd also like to let you know about some changes we are making in how we communicate with you.

Firstly, there are no two ways about, our forums would not be as popular as they are without your support and participation. So, from the very bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!! Be assured that all the usual forum posts will still be made and we won't be changing things here.

Our aim over the coming weeks and months however is to establish a stronger presence on Facebook & Twitter. There will be more competitions to look out for, more news from OcUK HQ, juicy details on exclusives and special offers and if you follow us on Twitter, you might even get to hear all the really thrilling stuff like what we had for breakfast and what colour pants we're wearing today :D

It would seem it is considered rather rude of me to post without introduing myself first :)

I am Shell and I am the latest member to join the team at Overclockers UK, and yes, i'm the previously mentioned new Internet Marketing bod.

Hello!!!!!!

Social networking & you don't even introduce yourself, Good start. :D

lmao See how ace at my job I am?!! I'm just not used to the whole old-school message board thing is all ;)

Hello Shell, I'm having trouble believing you are female Please post pics to settle my dilemma.

I can also confirm that I am a real, live, FEMALE and I shall come up with an avatar (at some point) to prove this fact! Mind you, if my avatar is meant to be proof of who I am, then judging by all of those i've seen so far, none of you are actually hardware erm 'enthusiasts' at all and are indeed gangsters! :p

LARP? Seriously? Sorry, I;m out.

lol LARP has such a bad rep!

Yes there are saddo's that do it, but on the whole you won't come across a more creative, clever and fun bunch of people to hang out with.

A lot of people get it mixed up with Historical Reenactment which is totally different. No one I have introduced to the hobby so far hasn't loved it!!

If it's any consolation, I won't be making LARP related Tweets :)
