I think i understand your English.

I Dropped the HT frequency to x3, lowered the DRAM speed from 400 to 266. On that board i have x4 GeIL 2GB (4x512MB) PC4000. Obviously that is where my clock is letting me down. The second system clock ( not shown ) reaches 2.7 @ 1.55V and is running 2gig (x2-1gig) 3200 geil. ( Wierd eh!!!).

Excellent with so litle volts, mine took 1.7 to hit 2.8ghz

I wouldn’t like to push mine that far - a little too hot

So the moral of the story is just Overclock and save money. Those chips are great Overclockers and will easily last you for a while. Im not going to upgrade until the middle of next year.
