Socks and Sockies

I hate it if I end up staying at someones house without plans and no change of clothes :/
 
I find socks become stretched and uncomfortable by the time I'm home from work anyways, it's just plain dirty not to change them once a day.

What do you do with your socks?! Mine are in my shoes so they are probably the least dirty think on my body! Do you wash your gloves everytime you use them

Every day.

As dangerstat said, if you think about it they're probably the least dirty thing on if you wear shoes all day. I walk around the house in mine, so I change them every day.

Your feet sweat inside your shoes do they not?

Every single day I change my socks unless there is a very good reason why I can't change them, I'd always been under the impression that it was normal to change your underwear every day, if not more frequently.
 
One clean pair a day at least. Like Scuzi, if I'm out doing whatever then sometimes it's necessary to change them!

What have you done to them? You haven't removed them have you, I hear it impairs balance tremendously.

Feet perspire, it's a simple fact of life, whether they sweat much or little they will still sweat.

Oh and thanks Tefal, I'll be sure to bear that in mind if I ever find myself without access to a washing machine. ;)

Well, yeah, of course they do, especially if they're in shoes and socks all day. Was just saying mine don't sweat to the extent that they make my socks particularly smelly/dirty. I could go a few days with the same socks on and they wouldn't smell as bad as some peoples feet do. I change them every day though, it's more hygienic & I walk around the house in socks.
 
every day. also change them before going out of an evening (who puts back on the socks they've worn all day if they've just showered?)
 
I can't beleive anyone can go more than a day with the same socks on. The few times I've not, ie when I'm in at home and I just stuck the nearest pair on again to keep my feet warm, it just feels... yuk.
 
I shower twice a day,so my feet never smell,if i wear socks out friday,il probz put them back on saturday mornin until sunday then change them.

If there not dirty,why change them.
 
i always wear 2 pairs (i have very small feet, all my shoes are a teeny bit too big) and change them every day.

as said above - i have never known of anyone who tried to make socks 'last' - i though all underwear was pretty much single use then wash!
