Socks

I used to spend vast fortunes (relative) on paul smith socks so I could feel like Peter Jones. That was until I found amazon, the two stripy sets in this pack are pretty much identical to said socks, they are a fraction of the price and you get 8 other pairs basically for free :p no brainer :)

Uniqlo are good from my experience

You don't go out of the house in those do you? :p

I didn't know they did cycling stuff! Now that's where I'm getting my next socks, not his :D

I have literally just bought some more, free postage at the moment. They fit great and I get this strange sense of extra happiness whenI wear them out on the bike. Good for road and MTB!

Have a look at Snug Socks as well.

I wear sealskinz pretty much all the time, got them for hiking but brilliant for work also, not Cheap but,

£30+ for a pair of socks!! If I don't get 4 or more pairs for £6 then I won't buy but then I am a tight Cornishman. Asda's padded sole socks are really comfortable. I usually end up sticking my big toe through my socks eventually anyway so it's not worth buying expensive socks for myself.

I bought ten pairs of Bridgedale WoolFusion Trekkers about seven or eight years ago and I've not worn any other socks since. They're as good now as when I bought them but they weren't cheap.

For normal socks I always get Penguin ones from TK Maxx, for trainer socks I use Gold Toe that I get from Macy's everytime I'm in the States and for hiking I use the wool ones that I get from Mountain Warehouse

I've bought socks from London Sock Company in 2016, worn them everyday and only in the Summer this year did they finally start to wear thin at the heel, bought some more. The elastic is still good, they still fit well. I'd highly recommend them.

I got "coskefy Sports Socks Cushioned Hiking Socks Crew Athletic Socks for Outdoors Walking Trainer Running (6 Pairs)" from the rain forest and they are good quality and fit well...need decent ones for many miles of dog walking each week :)

These may be a niche item, but quite a few moons ago, at a bi-annual Type 2 diabetes check, the specialist nurse checking my feet, (extremities can acquire a lack of feeling with diabetes), expressed mild dismay at the pinch marking on my lower calves from my socks, she suggested “socks for diabetics”, these grip okay, but not tightly, leaving no marks.
I bought around 18 pairs online, very comfortable, and they do the job.
