Sodastream

Indeed, in fact my missus tells me Root Beer smells like Germolene. It's certainly and industrial kind of taste, it's probably a Marmite kind of taste.

Ha, Germolene could well be a more accurate description.

Someone has moved this thread from General to La Cuisine, wasn't me gov, killed the thread I suppose.

Since when has Sodastream or Fizzy Drinks been considered a part of cuisine?

You needed to add that root beer is faget and that if a canister would explode killing two children while using the SodaStream, that would make a really cool documentary you could enjoy of an evening. That might be sufficient fodder for General Discussion.

Tesco's world foods aisle sell rot bear. About £1.60 a bottle though.

Rot bear? Not a fan of it then Ray :p

It is a particular taste and I can appreciate why some people don't like it, it is as someone said a bit like marmite which is why they stopped selling it here as demand wasn't great. Used to be able to get Root Beer in McDonald's!
