Sodding Insects

You could do what i do and buy one of those small electrical insect killers. Similar to one of those they use in the butchers, they use a wire grid around a light tube that insects are supposedly attracted to.

I leave my window closed at night, and just put up with the heat. If i do find anything such as a spider, i hunt it down until its died to death. This is my bedroom, i do not want any extra tenants.

I dont mind live insects and just catch moths in my hands and let them go free out of the window. What i dont like is slugs in my kitchen, especially when i go down at night for a drink and then feel squishiness under my foot  . I mean WTF how do they get in  .

That's bs. Worst thing at the moment are mozzies imo.

Was just going to post that. I'd rather have 1,000 moths than one mosquito. I'm absolutely covered in bites at the moment :(. It happens every year when it's as hot as this, I must taste soooo good as nobody else seems to get them.

I taped mosquito nets over my windows.. my room no longer smells of intense sweat due to playing football and coming in when mozzies got too many and sitting down for a breather.. also it's much cooler and a breeze = orgasm in this weather.

They look crap, but it gets the job done. I just used sellotape and some pins :p

I decided I couldn't be bothered risking more warfare against the Moth community this evening, and opted to close my window. Not that warm tho this evening if i strip down enough.

Hey good idea mate, might just do that myself.Been looking for a `cheap` solution to this. Its looking like a daddy longleg graveyard in here,i used to spend ages throwing them out using a pintglass but now its out with the towel or bug spray, trouble is that bug spray is probably lethal to humans too, hate the smell.
My mate has claimed some success with an `electric` tennis bat(you can buy em) whilst only suffering minor shocks being careless lol.
Unfortunately my windows open in (with catches) and they`re big ass council ones.Any product suggestions?
