I have these hinges and i wondered if there is any adjustment in them at all? I've taken one off but i can't see anything that looks like it should move for adjustment. I didn't want to start trying to force the plastic bit incase it broke and knackered the hinge.

In my experience, these hinges have no adjustment for soft closing. If it has stopped catching the door from slamming, it might be seized up internally, maybe see if there is anything lodged in it / give it a clean / lubricate it? If not, might be easier to whip it out and replace it with another, don't tend to be expensive for a pack!

My hinges look very similar to the one that @tedaC posted a picture of. The bit that I've circled will make my hinges switch between soft close on and off. With it off the doors will just slam. Have a look around the hinge and see if there's something similar, I can't see it on the OP's photo but it's worth a look.

Looks like the adjuster or slow close mechanism might be the bit I've put an arrow towards, but it looks like it's already on full and doesn't look in great condition.

In which case it's probably just broken (spring snapped or come off) and a new one is £5. You'd need to double check the spec but it visually looks like this one:

Does that just push all the way towards the hinge then? (the pic I posted is of one that does actually work).

There will be a moving part that moves slower than the door naturally wants to. Try opening the working door really quickly and you should see a part moving slower until fully open.

It looks to me like the small bit near the arrow is the bit that slows down the hinge closing (there's one top and bottom)
