Software for publishing A1 work?

I've got a presentation to do on Friday and it needs to be on a single A1 board. The stuff I want to display on it are a mix of AutoCAD diagrams, images and texts.

What software would you recommend for compiling it all together and creating an A1 document I can give to a printer to print out?

I just made an A1 poster last week, did it in photoshop, pretty easy.

Believe it or not powerpoint is actually a really good program to use for this kind of thing.

I would second that, powerpoint can be very useful for editing pictures, and text together.

Powerpoint couldn't deal with A1 sizes for some reason. Tried Paint.NET and didn't have enough memory to create a big enough image. Ended up going to my mates house and using his Apple and Adobe inDesign.

Fantastic piece of software, got highest mark on my course for the presentation!
