Yes, you'll need to install TeamViewer on the PC you're using to remote control, as the software isn't web based

i like teamviewer but problem is they need to accept the remote access first before you can access

If you install the full version and set-up your own password (rather than the auto-generated one) in the options you can connect without confirmation.

Another +1 here for TeamViewer. Will be installing onto more computers (which all have Windows XP) and I can control them from my Windows 7 machine. This fills the gap once held for a long time by Windows Live Mesh (beta), which then became a Windows 7 only product - hence did not work with XP anymore.

They use Dameware Mini Remote Control at work. Dont have a clue what its like or how complicated it is but just know its installed on all the machines for remote accessing.
