What do you think the piece of software of the year has been?

Be it free or Paid for, which do you think is best.

If you can't think of one, then one that you have found out about this year.

Nice topic. I'd say nLite or Billy. Being able to remove the stuff you don't want/need from Windows and add drivers and updates to Windows is a brilliant idea and nLite does this.

A friend of mine uses Billy (mp3 player) and even I have to agree it somehow sounds better than Winamp. Only Winamp's iPod support saves it from being deleted off my PC.

This year for me only realy one that made me light up,

Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation.

Was just what I expected from them, and tbh has made my life a lot easyer

so for that alone #1
