Software to convert Apple Inter Codec to (say) h264 / mp4

Ok, I've bought a friends macbook and they've copied off the video files they had on there and have reverted to PC. Except the videos were captured in AIC and they can't be played on a PC :s

So, how can I do a batch conversion of all the movie files for them from AIC to summat in decent quality.

Try Handbrake.

Says it's not a valid source, I ended up doing it with visual hub, forgot entirely about that one
