I've just bought a 32" Toshiba Regza TV 1080P and the largest resolution it allows me todo is 1360X768, is there anyway I can force it to run at 1920X1080P? I'm using it via VGA, the XBOX 360 works fine @1080p via component.

Is this from the PC? If so are you running from an NVidia or ATi card? If ATi, then you should be able to add the appropriate resolution from the CCC. If NVidia, then...I couldnt tell you :p

Well it doesn't recognise the tv at all and the resolutions it can do, it goes uypto 1600X1200 and that's it - if I try that resolution the screen doesnt work (as it's not capable of it anyways). This is turning into a right headache lol. I'm using a Nvidia 8800GT.

Have a Toshiba telly and it states in the manual that VGA only supports up to 1360x768 (although TV is 1080p), are you unable to connect via HDMI/DVI?

Edit: Just saw your thread in the Graphics forum, seems you figured this out already haha :)
