Software to set layout within Windows?

I open multiple number of explorer, 8 or 9 in fact both 32 and 64 bit and various software on my PC. The problem is when I boot up it takes a good 15 minutes to open, log in and arrange the layout/open programmes and re-sizes on my screens so it suits my purpose. Is there some way I can do this automatically?

I know you can get them to open automatically but it do not do enough as i have 17 pieces of software open and explorer pointed at different sites and varying number tabs.
Any info will be appreciated.

I suppose you could use a macro recorder something like this while you're getting everything the way you want it, and thereafter schedule the script to run when you log on.

Out of interest, couldn't you just sleep or hibernate your PC with all your programs open instead of shutting it down completely?

I only use it to remember folder position and size but it works with apps too.

Used some type of macrorecorder in my last PC system under XP but it was an utter pain to set up, took ages (hrs and days to learn the nuances ) to set up and it works on some as when the timings are wrong as sometimes pc slows due to some reason if you startup loading 17 -20 programmes simultaneously and everything cocks up so i used it fon an F key but to load up a few.

I run live java and stuff and I leave PC running as if it goes to sleeps programs cocks up and i get a dozen prog i have to reload. After a while between less than 1 day to 3 days, pc slows to a crawl and requires reboot and spare RAM gets used up as hrs progresses and within half day of loading, from 56% free to 14% free too.

I can spend 2hrs + a week in total booting up/logging in rearranging.

If you have 7 explorers to open can you assing each to different position size etc?

From the reviews this might be reasonably easy to set up unlike the one i used which took me a wk

Tried this but it got in a real muddle clicking on the wrong things which wasn't where things are. Even as far as going to the wrong screen. I wonder if there is a more accurate one?
