software to test graphics card

so you agree it is the graphics card to fault, windows error report even said it was, could they be wrong?

Well its all working fine so i dont see that there can be anything wrong with the card. And windows report only stated this to you , we have tried to cure it with what they said and more.

Can anyone else shed some light on this matter? i've ran ouf of ideas

i will run memtest in a wee min see if it finds anything so i can rule it out...how long should i leave it on for?

MemTest will run until the earth is blown up, or your PC is rebooted, whichever comes first.

General rule of thumb is to leave it as long as you can. Definitely a few hours.

The "passed 3" bit means that it has gone through 3 complete test cycles with no errors.

ok been on for 3 and a hlaf hours and 5 pass i will leave it until 4 hours and then i will end it, that seem alright?looks like the memory isn't to blame, graphics card it is.

is there any other tests i should be running

uninstalled graphics card again so it had to restart and now all i get is BSOD what can i do?

EDIT: oh got past it :D

I would go with lay-z-boy but nuke the whole machine from orbit.

Something is very much wrong with either your build or the hardware.

I may have missed it, but have you got a spare graphics card to swap in? Are you definitely using the latest drivers direct from nVidia? Does the card require a power supply connector and is it plugged in?

I'm running out of ideas other than the card is just knackered!
