I remember a game with this name years ago like 1999 or something, it was Command and Conquer but you picked a vehicle or unit to control and went around like a deathmatch style version of C&C, is this similar?? I know I had to get a friend of mine to send me the game as it was only for sale in the US. I guess they can use the name in this new game as the one I'm thinking of was called Sole Survivor!
 
Thanks for the heads up, this looks like a very interesting game, deffinately worth snapping up!
Just need to work out if I should buy it now, or wait for the inevitable 'game now on steam, get it cheap!' sale :x
 
For the price it is, you cant go wrong.

I want to see some OcUK games going.

The really have thought about the online modes. Awesome stuff.

I'd say so. Defense Grid is fantastic but then this seems to have me hooked in a similar fashion after a few hours play.

It's different in that you don't shape the enemys path but there are more towers to play with. There are also different commanders who have access to different towers.

Looking forward to finishing the campaign and getting onto the multiplayer.
 
doing the survival medals now, arrrh at last 20 mins on the 1st map with Freya, looking at the global score board only 1 player has managed it so far

Played for 4 hours straight last night, lol!

Just on normal to get a feel for it, love the varied generals, different tactics for each.

I do so love spamming drones. :D
 
So, anybody else bought this? I love it so far but wish there were more people to play the multiplayer with.

There is a demo available now on Steam for anybody that wawnts to try the game?

played a couple of 2v2 wars late in the evening, enjoying tryin to unlock the map medals
