Solar panel production figures

Previous May's were only with 4kW of solar, but they range between 479 and 713, going by daily average I should be around 1300 for the month.
 
Another very good day. 31.1kWh generated and a record 21.4kWh exported. Uses 1.2kWh from the grid.

Two weeks have passed and Octopus still can't see our smart meters. Rather annoying as on flux we'd have made over £12 over the last 4 days.

I had new smart meters fitted on March 1st, the Bright app can read them but neither So energy who I was with then or Octopus now could read them. Octopus yesterday booked me up for another meter change would you believe to fix the problem.
 
Not sure where the sun is today, its pretty solid cloud.
Generation is "ok" but its 1.3kw rather than anything more tasty.
I went zero from grid last night as well so battery dropped to low of 55% and now creeping back up to 67%

Sparky is due today to come and look at the dodgy battery situation so as I haven't had a cancellation yet I assume he will turn up.

Siliconslave who has a very similar system to mine gave me a code yesterday that seems to unlock the installer (advanced) type menu on the app and I can see my battery heating is set to disable.
Odd it should be in installer, I really cannot think why that should not be under user control! Obviously I don't need it switched on right now, but come the winter that could help a lot.
 
I think as default they give you as little control as possible. I had to contact the manufacturer of our inverter directly to get access to its remote features for instance, and stuff like battery charge cut off levels and what not was deliberately out of reach to me.......

To be honest in this case we really shouldnt have access to this area. It includes the export control which by UK law is supposed to specifically not be user updatable. (Because if your DNO has limited it to say 4kw then you cant have the user going in and changing it to max the inverter size)
Interestingly my export is set to 6kw. Although my inverter will only do 5.5kw

I won't be messing in there, apart from switching battery heating on in autumn, since there are a lot of things I think you could mess up badly!
 
Its supposed to be cloudy here now and theres not a single one in the sky….we had a little bit of cloud pop over earlier, but it hardly lasted long…..

next 6 days are forecast to be wall to wall sunshine….can i get to 500kwh
