Solar panel production figures

I think 27 was forecast this morning, not sure why as the weather forecast was bleak.

SolarEdge: 5.1 kWh
Garage: 5.71 kWh
North west roof: 5.69 kWh
House rear wall: 1.46 kWh
Peak power was 9.16 kW at 15:33

Total generated today: 17.96 kWh
Total exported today: 16.661 kWh

Winters certainly arrived, who's going to be the first to generate zero???

I know - shocking isn't it. System definitely isn't best positioned for Winter and I do loose a good deal of panels to shading and sun position.
Thank god for high credit and sizing of batteries!
It's the additional money from exports in the summer where it will really pay off, money in the bank for the winter. Obviously the additional panels will help through the winter.

I do wonder if panels in a single string are really shaded in these darker months drag the others down even with tigos, presumably you can see individual panel data?

It definitely makes the difference exporting as much as possible from mid March to usually mid October or thereabouts.

I've attached a photo of the current Tigo set up - the highlighted coloured circles are the same strings. So in answer to your question, the bottom set of 5 panels are hardly producing but aren't affecting the 8 panels adjacent to it (all on one string).
At the top the 2 panels on the shed are affected by the 6 panels on the wall, but I think this is more down to the number of panels. The remaining panels are split equally on two separate strings East & West. Those two shed panels will be split in future to add to the East string as I'm adding a further 3 panels to the gym on the West string.

Finally, the 7 panels on the gable end will be added to the 6 vertical panels that were linked to the 2 shed panels if that makes sense.
