Solar panel production figures

Fabulous day yesterday, best day so far this year, well above average although not quite perfect.

SolarEdge: 9 kWh
Garage: 4.6 kWh
North west roof: 2.59 kWh
House rear wall: 4.31 kWh
Peak power was 4.88 kW at 11:06

Total generated yesterday: 20.5 kWh
Total exported yesterday: 27.11 kWh
Total imported yesterday: 41.431 kWh

Back to normal here as well.

SolarEdge: 1.8 kWh
Garage: 2.04 kWh
North west roof: 1.77 kWh
House rear wall: 0.37 kWh
Peak power was 1.83 kW at 11:00

Total generated yesterday: 5.98 kWh
Total exported yesterday: 11.46 kWh
Total imported yesterday: 41.75 kWh

A very good day, well above average but not perfect, could do with more days like this.

SolarEdge: 8.9 kWh
Garage: 4.73 kWh
North west roof: 3.31 kWh
House rear wall: 4.31 kWh
Peak power was 6.07 kW at 13:14

Total generated yesterday: 21.25 kWh
Total exported yesterday: 28.99 kWh
Total imported yesterday: 41.82 kWh

I’m guessing Ron that the majority of your panels are of low pitch? Lower winter numbers but smashes spring and summer?
The 12 on the garage, are 10 degrees, the 28 on the house are at 30 degrees, the 3 on the rear wall IIRC are 84 degrees.

When the sun is low, I do suffer quite a bit of shading from neighbours and a tree, once the sun gets a bit higher in the sky it will really pick up.

Did better than expected, with a peak in to the sixes.

SolarEdge: 2.4 kWh
Garage: 2.2 kWh
North west roof: 2.11 kWh
House rear wall: 0.94 kWh
Peak power was 6.19 kW at 13:08

Total generated yesterday: 7.65 kWh
Total exported yesterday: 14.01 kWh
Total imported yesterday: 31.47 kWh

So far there are three of us on the live charts with over 25 kWh generation, things are looking up.

I imported a fraction of what I usually do, and so far exported nothing, the battery is up to 82% so will export some this evening.

Surprised you only got 25 today ron, must have got short end of stick with clouds as I thought it looked pretty good for both of us today, managed to net 13.7, estimate was around 15

Pretty much a perfect day really, bit of cloud to start with, but just my different panels pointing differents ways, and different angles, basically far from optimal.

A very good day, best one of the year so far, apart from my slip up the night before which meant the battery didn't charge, although I think I'll still be just about negative for the day.

SolarEdge: 11.2 kWh
Garage: 4.97 kWh
North west roof: 3.59 kWh
House rear wall: 5.92 kWh
Peak power was 4.82 kW at 11:31

Total generated yesterday: 25.68 kWh
Total exported yesterday: 10.3 kWh
Total imported yesterday: 3.96 kWh

Tomorrow is not looking good, solcast was projecting 6.5 24 hours ago. It’s dropped to 4, to 3.5 now 2.9.

I’m projecting 2 based on the above!
Victron is predicting 7.7 kWh, BBC is predicting rain all day so I expect we won't be generating 7.7 kWh either.

Used less gas than last january, but its cost nearly £30 more........used the same in leccy, but cost £16 more than last year
I've used a lot more gas this January, and according to the Octopus App it by time you factor in the yesterday and today it'll be about £6 more.

Electric was a lot more expensive last year, as I was on flux, this year I'll pay about £15 on Go compared to last year's £90 (less saving sessions). I've actually had 8 days this month that were negative, not bad for January.

Bad day yesterday, a bit worst than the forecast predicted.

SolarEdge: 1.6 kWh
Garage: 2.05 kWh
North west roof: 1.89 kWh
House rear wall: 0.34 kWh
Peak power was 2.15 kW at 12:10

Total generated yesterday: 5.88 kWh
Total exported yesterday: 12.95 kWh
Total imported yesterday: 32.11 kWh

As for the month, we generated 291.59 kWh
Last January it was 227.67, but we have new panels since then and they generated as follows:

Rear wall: 46.5 kWh
NW Roof: 59.22 kWh

Total: 105.72 kWh

To get a comparative figure for to last year, 291.59 - 105.72 = 185.87 kWh.

So we were 41.8 kWh down on last January :(

Peak power was 6.96 kW at 12:28

Total generated yesterday: 20.01 kWh
Total exported yesterday: 18.74 kWh
Total imported yesterday: 59.77 kWh
