I actually get a dip in production over mid day at this time of year.
My east panels get shaded by my own roof (stubby L- shaped house) so in effect both sets of panels are in shade at the same time.
The high pitch and low sun means not much is caught by either the east or west generally.
I have shading issues on my second string, costing about 1.5kWh on a perfect day at this time of the year but came to the same conclusion. It wouldn't ever pay back.Basically perfect and new record day for the year

I could get some optimisers but in a few weeks it won’t be an issue so it’s unlikely to ever be worth it cost.
