Solar panel production figures

A lovely clear and sunny day, so perfect time for a power cut. Until at least midday apparently.
We had a number of power cuts last year and our solar setup didn't work when the power was out so we ended up getting the installer to wire some sockets directly connected to the battery*. Obviously since then we haven't had a single outage :).

* Obviously only useful if the battery has power

When had a power cut last year thought thats ok its sunny as it was the summer, but at the time did not realise if the grid connection drops the invert turns off for safety. When upgrade and add batteries will make sure have the hardware in place to run the house from the battery if no grid connection.

Yes, I'm thinking we could get whole house backup with a changeover switch and run off the batteries. The inverter has EPS, so it should just need an Earth rod.

Anyway, its back now and generating at 2.51kW. Hopefully shouldn't have lost much.

9.6 generated and 5.3 exported.

Not quite a record here for 2025, as it was the same as the 3rd. I think it would have been the first double-digit day as we had a power cut this morning and it didn't come back until 9.40am. We lost about 1 hour and 20 mins of generation, so about 0.7kWh. Annoying.

21.5 kWh today. Not quite a 2025 record since we did 22.2 back on the 3rd.

Very handy generation at the moment with the cold weather. Won't need any day rate import to keep the heat pumps going! The next couple of days aren't looking too bad either. Quite the change from the dull December.
