Solar panel production figures

A good solar day yesterday, and I managed to pull 5.1kWh in the free power hour, without losing any solar or export.

SolarEdge: 17.1 kWh
Garage: 15.02 kWh
North west roof: 15.51 kWh
House rear wall: 5.96 kWh
Peak power was 13.14 kW at 13:51

Total generated yesterday: 53.59 kWh
Total exported yesterday: 59.15 kWh
Total imported yesterday: 33.92 kWh

That probably puts the payback out well beyond their useful life so why bother?

Light for long days in summer and then lots of dark for the rest of the year, so yes, prob not a great payback.
 
So for our second full month of production we generated;

PV Production - 1.49 MWh
Self consumed - 350 kWh
Exported to Grid - 1.14 MWh (I'd be so lucky!)

Not needed to top up our battery yet overnight on the cheap rate, but we only pulled 3.9kWh from the Grid the whole month which is nice to see. Hopefully I'll hear about the export being set up - still waiting, this time with Octopus.

You can contact the DNO yourself and get your export MPAN set up.

Once you have the MPAN, your supplier, octopus in this case can set up your export tariff within hours.

That’s how I did it and Ocotpus processed it the next day.

My DNO (UKPN) got back to me in under a week, all I did was send them the documents my installer gave me on completion.

Looks like Octopus have contacted the DNO already - we're just waiting on that to be created then it should be full steam ahead. Hopefully.... maybe. :D
 
Pretty poor day, today will be much the same, its like winter outside, at least the panels are getting a very thorough cleaning.

Total generated yesterday: 28.56 kWh
Total exported yesterday: 35.02 kWh
