Solar panel production figures

22.9. Energy forecast for the next seven days is only around 30 in total, but the long range forecast does have a couple more sunny days just before the end of the month.

Yeah, no complaints! I often wonder if the hybrid 5kW inverter will be a bottleneck, but I wanted an easy life.

Bloody scaffolding is still up after a month despite chasing them a few times. Grrr.

That's scaffolders....I find them just like skip-hire companies. For a hire, they can get the skip or scaffolding out to you sometimes on the same day, no problem as long as you paid. When it comes to collection, the excuses can be fantastic.

Realising and accepting this over the years has certainly helped my stress levels :D

Same here. Unfortunately, the battery temps are currently below their optimum so are not taking a full charge from the solar which is generating 3.2 at the moment. The difference going back to the grid.
The electric rate today on tracker is 19.9p, so not too far away from the 15p export rate, but need to come up with a long-term solution.

Import is 16.8 for me today, so nearly 1:1 with the 15 export rate

Cloud now rolling in which wasn't forecast. I didn't actually charge the battery this morning expecting it to be clear all day again. It's at 64% so far so hopefully the sun hangs on.

11.3

Did quite well in the end despite it being quite cloudy. It took a perfect day to get 11.6 just two days ago, so its improving quickly with the sun getting higher.

New to the forum hear I came across this forum wile looking for solar forum talks. Im a bit of a game player and Diy solar home setup man but have just pulled the trigger on a home solar setup that should go up on the roof the end of next month with luck. 18 panels of 425w 8 facing East and 10 facing West with all givenergy hybrid inverter with 2 x 9.5 batterys for storage as well hope to see some nice savings with it. For the past years i have been running my Koi pond and workshop in the back garden with a mix of micro grid tie and off grid hybrid diy solar setup that has been saving me about £400 to £500 a year.
