Early access released today, gone and already bought it with no intention of playing it till 1.0. Just another developer like Larian (divinit series/bg 3) that i want to support. Anyone else bought this yet or are you all waiting on full release?
Trailer for anyone who hasnt watched it yet or never heard of this game:

I bought it yesterday.
I played Solasta 1, and really enjoyed the first half. Was a bit bored during the 2nd half and still haven't played the DLCs yet.

I'm hopeful for no2. I fired it it for a quick look.
One thing that I actually liked and agreed with during Solasta 1, was the prevention of multi-classing, as IMO it results in some fairly obvious "metas", e.g. always taking a fighter for 1st level as a cleric/wizard, just because you can then use any armour, a shield, all standard weapons and get maximised hit points. The downside to getting spells a level later is just not enough of a negative. Solasta 1 obliged your wizard to NOT have armour, which to someone who played D&D even before AD&D seems a bit "odd".
I appreciate that as a player that I can simply not use the above meta, and that's fine, if the game balance assumes accounts for what is IMO a significant difference.

You can see how triple a budgets help get games into the public perception. Mainly I think because I loved the first one, I didn't even realise there was a second one coming out let alone nearing full release!
I think this is a buy now play later like Bakes mentioned just to support the team.

I knocked up a new party and went for a meander around today. At least the first 2 hours is really well done.
No issues, apart from some slightly odd visual fringing around characters. Certainly, no obvious bugs or crashes.

To ensure that party members have particular dialogues, you assign each a “role”.
The rules are not quite the same as the 5e version that I’ve played. The main point being that racial bonuses are not quite what I’m used to. However, they do appear to be more balanced, so no issues from me on that.

Same for me, I only realised this was coming out due to Mortismal's videos on Youtube. Bought yesterday and will leave it til 1.0 to play.

It's going to be fun reading all the patch notes and fixes thinking "Heh, I avoided that annoyance by holding firm until 1.0"
However.... I have it installed now... I might just have a quick go...
