Hi,

I am about to do the LED mod on my PC and the box I got looks like this:

On the guide it says you can cut the cable to reveal the 12v and ground wires to use for the molex but on this one it doesn't have a wire, it just has the 12V AC port and the bits on the motherboard.

How can I wire this up to my molex connector?

Thanks

UPDATE: I just realised I had a spare 12V DC adapter and it powered the LEDS fine, so what I have done is cut off the end of the adapter so I can plug the DC part into the LEDS and wire up the two wires to the molex... but how do I tell which one is GRD and which is 12V?

The only bit I see when I broke open the DC adapter is one is connected to V+ and the other is V-

Just to let you know I managed to get it all working properly :)

The V+ is 12v and V- is ground.

I have a bit of cable management to do and then I will post some pics, It really was worth the £15-20 investment :)

Putting LEDs inside your PC case is by no means an investment, especially if you had to pay money to do it.
