Hey. Recently started looking at SSD's with quite a bit of intrest, and as far as I can tell the OCZ Vertex drives seem to be the faves amongst people here.
But wondering if sombody was to get 2 60GB Solid Series Drives and link them in RAID 0, would it not be better than getting 2 30GB Vertex Drives?
I know it wouldnt run as fast (but sure miles faster than HDD?), but would have twice the capacity for pretty much the same money. Im absolutelty broke at the moment, so by the time I would be buying them in 2 or 3 months they maybe slightly cheaper, but would still only be able to afford around £250 for them. Considering I would want it as a drive for OS and games, I would want more than 60GB in total lol
Or am i missing a massive factor about the solid series drives and theyre actually rubbish?!
