Is there a way to download the microsoft version? My supervisor asked me if i had it as her PC doesn't have it.

I told her it should be built into windows, she insists its not on her PC.

Hmmm "My Supervisor asked me..." lol

If your company uses nLite, or manually removed them, they have been removed for a reason. It is also likely that you won't be able to install it on the machine even if you could get it from MS.

Yes you can. its in the control panel somewhere add or remove windows features or something. (on vista anyway) I had business edition which didnt have them so i added them.

At my place, if I log in without administrative access, I cannot access the control panel. Only display and mouse settings are available. Likely to be locked down via GPO or Local Security Policies.

But, then again, I could be wrong!

It's her home PC, nothing to do with a work PC.

I found the option in Add Remove Programs ill let her know, cheers.
