I'm trying to figure out how to connect all my devices without having wires going everywhere, and so I'm appealing to the vast body of knowledge that is OcUK once again!
The situation: I rent a small flat and my connection runs from where the door is, and the router is situated in my study right next to it. PC is wired into said router. The issue I'm trying to sort is that my bluray player and xbox are in my lounge down the hall, and my gf has strictly forbidden running an ethernet down the hall to a switch to connect them. I don't really need it to be a low latency solution (more for fw/sw updates than anything, but maybe online gaming at some point) so wireless or powerline were my first ideas, but the sockets in that room are already loaded up with extensions and I don't want to daisy-chain them. I'm not sure what kind of hardware would be necessary to connect those devices wirelessly. What do you guys think would suit my needs? Cheers
