Solved Mod delete plz

Hi All,

Help me if you can!

I was doing some updates on a work PC, Hp said there were some updates and to proceed, I'm sure one of them was an update for the bios? anyway proceeded with them, on reboot its telling me the pin is no longer available as security settings were changed ( I didn't change any) and also the password isn't working.

I Have tried all sorts even system restore, I have managed to create another user as admin in the attempts to reset the password but I'm unable to see the other user in computer management. I think the other user was signed in to a Microsoft account (ie. not local) but the password is not working to log in.

I am very confussed!

Turns out it wasn't the password associated with the Microsoft account but another random one.
The PC was logged in with a Microsoft account but had some how along the way was turned in to a local account that kept all the info from the Microsoft account bar the password!
Was very infuriating when I finally got in! The boss got a good telling off for not being more organised!
